Aston Martin DB7 coupe auto (1995) (ANOTHER ONE IN BLUE SEE BELOW)

The name of Aston Martin resonates throughout British automotive history and is one of the true legends. The DB7 is the famous Ian Callum design which effectively saved Aston Martin and put it where it is today. Own a part of the story!

Produced over a ten-year period from 1994, the DB7 was a roaring success with over 7,000 of all varieties built in total, out of which just under 2,500 were standard DB7s. With a six-cylinder supercharged 3.2 litre engine producing 335bhp and 361 lb ft of torque and a beautifully svelte body, the Aston was reliable and extremely practical as a result.

Frequently described as the “affordable Aston”, the values of straight-six DB7s have steadied in recent years and good examples are beginning to fetch serious money on the heels of the costlier V12 Vantage models becoming very expensive.

This is a most usable specimen in metallic green with parchment leather and green facings and dash surround. It has a recorded mileage of 80k and there is service history with the car, mostly at the places you would wish it to be serviced. The majority were either at HWM in Walton-on-Thames or the Chiltern Aston Centre and its predecessor (accounting in total for fourteen out of the twenty stamps in the service record). It comes with an MoT to 1 May 2018 so, subject to being taxed and insured, is ready to drive away. Available just in time for Summer and Autumn cruising and for sale at an attractive price.

The second car is deep blue with a lovely parchment interior and excellent wood, it has a very similar mileage to the green one with full service records and has a recent MoT with no advisories. Driven to us from near Aberdeen, a distance of 150 miles, it goes and stops well. It does require some paint which we will be arranging shortly, although this is not serious as it is on the composite wings so no rust is involved, and is only apparent on close inspection. The A/C is currently not working. Nonetheless, it is a perfectly good car as its recent trip demonstrates and it has been used for continental touring. It could, for example, be used as-is over the winter and the paint addressed at a later date. The price of £17,850 is for the car as it now stands ready to be driven away.
